Product Information
Embroidered Cushion Covers in Grey & White Baroque Bloom, Set of 2
Give a sofa, bed or armchair a classic, tailored finish with this pair of embroidered scatter cushion covers. A baroque bloom of scrolling stems and stylised flowers is stitched in dark grey on white cotton, so the damask-style pattern is raised and textured rather than printed flat, with a crisp contrast that reads from across the room. Both covers are 50 × 50 cm (20 × 20 in) and zip over the cushion pads you already own.
Key Features
- Embroidered, not printed — the baroque floral pattern is stitched in dark grey thread, so you can see and feel its texture
- 100% cotton — soft to the touch, breathable and durable
- A matching pair — two covers in the same design, for a balanced look at either end of a sofa or across a bed
- Hidden zip — kept out of sight so the front stays clean, and the cover comes off for washing
- Made for 50 × 50 cm pads — or choose a 55 × 55 cm (22 × 22 in) pad for a fuller, plumper cushion
- Bold dark grey on white — high contrast that stands out on pale sofas and brings a classic note to modern rooms
- Covers only — refresh the cushions you have without buying new pads

Each cover measures 50 × 50 cm (20 × 20 in). For a full, plump cushion use a 55 × 55 cm (22 × 22 in) insert; a 50 × 50 cm (20 × 20 in) insert also fits and gives a flatter, tailored look. The covers are not suited to 45 × 45 cm (18 × 18 in) pads, which look underfilled, or to rectangular pads.
No. The set is two covers only, with no inserts or filling, so you can reuse cushion pads you already have. For the fullest look choose two 55 × 55 cm (22 × 22 in) inserts; 50 × 50 cm (20 × 20 in) inserts also fit and give a flatter, more tailored finish.
Embroidered. The scrolling stems and stylised flowers are stitched in dark grey thread on white cotton, so the pattern stands slightly proud of the fabric and you can feel it under your hand. A printed pillow cover carries its design flat on the surface; embroidery adds texture and depth that shows up close and when light falls across the cushion.
Unzip each cover and take it off the cushion pad first. Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, do not bleach, and lay flat to dry or tumble dry on low. Because the covers come off so easily, they are simple to keep fresh on a sofa or bed that gets daily use.
Yes, for everyday family use. The 100% cotton is durable, and after spills, sticky fingers or pet hair you can simply unzip the covers and machine wash them cold on a gentle cycle. The raised embroidery can catch on claws, so if a cat likes to knead the sofa, keep these on a bed or armchair instead.
Not in grey and white. The scrolling floral shape is classic, but the two-colour palette keeps it crisp, so the pair works in contemporary living rooms as well as traditional ones. On a grey, cream or white sofa the dark grey pattern stands out clearly; on a charcoal sofa it reads more softly, and plain velvet or linen cushions balance it.
Both covers are 100% cotton, with the baroque bloom embroidered in dark grey thread on a white ground. Cotton is soft to the touch, breathable and durable, which makes the pair comfortable to lean against on a sofa or bed and practical to wash whenever the cushions need freshening up.
Delivery is free to every country. Orders arrive in 3–5 business days in the UK, 4–8 in Europe, 6–10 in the USA, and 8–12 in Canada and Australia. If the covers are not right for your room, you have 30 days to return them.
